A small portrait photograph of the artist’s father in his military uniform is placed at the center of a sheet of paper. Over it, the artist draws a gauze pattern by hand, maintaining a consistent distance between each line. Through the slow tempo of drawing, the gesture shifts from disciplined, controlled effort into a tender, rhythmic, healing practice.
